ME
Jenny brings compassion, warmth, honesty, kindness, courage, reliability and conscientiousness to her work which is grounded in a deep respect for the client – counsellor relationship.
Jenny is currently a Teaching Associate at Monash University teaching university students mindfulness skills. She also works as a clinician for headspace National Youth Mental Health Foundation providing early intervention mental health services to 12-25 year olds. She also sees clients in private practice in East Malvern where she provides : individual counselling, teaching of mindfulness and executive and academic coaching. She also facilitates regular mindfulness groups / courses in East Malvern.
Prior to this Jenny worked as a counsellor / psychologist at Monash University where she developed and implemented a number of mindfulness-based programs and coaching programs for both students and staff.
Jenny has presented at conferences on the following topics: applying mindfulness based approaches to challenges commonly faced by students and coaching of students to enhance academic performance as well as well being.
She is a mindfulness based stress reduction teacher and an accredited Executive Coach. Jenny has had a regular meditation practice for over 20 years and is a full member of the Australian Psychological Society and a member of the Australian Psychological Society’s Counselling College. She is an Endorsed Supervisor with psychologists’ registration board of Victoria AHPRA and a registered provider with Medicare and private health insurers.
